Shoreline Restoration Oakville, ON
Due to a major flooding event, Lake Ontario rose to record levels, causing significant damage along the shores of Oakville and surrounding areas. Hudson Restoration was brought in to completely rebuild a boathouse and a large sundeck while reinforcing the shoreline to prepare for future floods. After extensive excavation, construction, landscaping, and overcoming a few obstacles (including ensuring the safety of Lake Ontario’s marine wildlife during the restoration), our client was ecstatic to see his estate property restored to its epic pre-loss condition.

A major flooding event caused Lake Ontario to rise to record levels, resulting in extensive damage to the shoreline properties, including a boathouse and a large sundeck on our client’s estate.
Hudson Restoration undertook a comprehensive project to rebuild the damaged boathouse and sundeck, while also reinforcing the shoreline to withstand future floods. This involved extensive excavation, construction, and landscaping efforts, with special care taken to protect the local marine wildlife.
The project was completed to the highest standards, restoring the client’s estate to its magnificent pre-loss condition. The shoreline was reinforced to prevent future damage, and the boathouse and sundeck were rebuilt to perfection. The client was overjoyed with the results. The project had an approximate value of $2.5 million.
Marine wildlife had to be protected throughout shoreline restoration.
After the shoreline was restored, a massive sundeck was rebuilt with expansive views of Lake Ontario.
A quaint boathouse for watersports equipment was also rebuilt.
